Your editorial, “Save the lectures to Latvia” (July 12), is by far the most accurate portrayal of ethnic emotions which permeate all tiers of Latvian population. The most unique aspect of this editorial is that it does address the horrors as the result of which Latvia has over 40 percent Russian population. Thank you for your historical accuracy.
