Emelia H. Wells, 75, of Lake Villa, former owner and operator of Amy’s Beauty Nook in Antioch, died July 12 in the Victory Lakes Continuing Care Center in Lindenhurst. She was born in North Dakota and formerly lived in Brainerd, Minn. and Antioch. She is survived by two daughters, Harriet Wennerstrom and Judy Coon; two sons, Harold and Jim; a brother; and nine grandchildren. Services were held Saturday.
