Dr. Bruce Flashner, 56, who for 16 years was a managing partner of the Flashner Medical Partnership, died Monday while jogging near his home in Highland Park. He was a graduate of Dartmouth College and Northwestern University Medical School. Flashner Medical Partnership, which owned and managed 56 ambulatory care centers in five cities was sold July 1. Dr. Flashner was a former the deputy director of the Illinois Department of Public Health. He was chief surgical resident at Cook County Hospital in 1970. He is survived by wife, Joan; a son, Scott; and three daughters, Patrice, Lisa and Kimberly. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Weinstein Brothers Wilmette Chapel, 111 Skokie Blvd., Wilmette.
