Celia Flores, 38, of the Southeast Side, died Sunday in what may have been a gang-related shooting near her home. Ms. Flores, according to relatives, had had problems with gang members after she confronted them when they tried to recruit her 11- and 13-year-old sons. Ms. Flores, a homemaker, was born in Laredo, Texas. Her family moved here when she was a small child. She is survived by five sons, Ruben, Guanajo, Enrique, Sergio and Victor; a daughter, Veronica; three brothers and two sisters. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday in Brown Funeral Home 2939 E. 95th St. Mass will be said at 9 a.m. Saturday in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 3200 E. 91st St.
