Adele Para, 71, who was active in Republican politics in Cicero for 49 years, died Tuesday at home. She was a former code violations inspector for Cicero. She was a Republican precinct captain and membership chairman for the Boulevard Manor Women’s Republican Club of Cicero. Survivors include three daughters, Sharon Lavender, Nancy Brown and Diane Croasdale; six grandchildren; a sister; and a brother. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday in Suburban Family Funeral Home, 5940 W. 35th St., Cicero. Mass will be said at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Our Lady of Charity Catholic Church, 3600 57th Ct., Cicero.
