Pontarelli Builders has demolished an office building in order to begin development of its Depot Square condominium community in north suburban Glenview.
Depot Square will consist of three buildings with a total of 108 one- and two-bedroom condos priced from $89,900 to $369,900.
One of the buildings, with 62 one- and two-bedroom units, has been designated for seniors. Square footage ranges from 600 to 1,286 square feet, and those units are priced from $89,900 to $168,900.
The other two buildings will have 46 two-bedroom residences measuring 1,134 to 2,107 square feet. These are priced rom $202,900 to $369,900.
A sales office on Depot Street, just north of Grove Streeet, will open Monday.
– Three model homes have been put up for sale at Lakeview Estates, a development of 148 homes in southwest suburban Oswego. In addition to the models, 29 sites remain for sale.
The models range from 1,940 to 2,242 square feet and are priced from $188,225 to $192,000. All three models have four bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths.
Two of the models are furnished, and feature window treatments, deck or patio, wallpaper, landscaping and numerous other upgrades. The third model, the Claridge, is not decorated, but has optional features. In addition, two other floor plans are available at the development.
Lakeview Estates, a development of Property Concepts Inc., is on Illinois Highway 71 in Oswego.
– Three decorated models have opened at Sherwood Forest, a community of 162 townhouses in northwest suburban Streamwood.
The townhouses, priced from $118,990 to $124,990, are available in five designs that range from 1,352 to 1,521 square feet. They have two bedrooms or two bedrooms plus loft, with 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 baths.
Pulte Homes is the developer of the community, which is on Bartlett Road, south of Higgins Road.
– Pulte also has opened two models at its Teal Bay of Chesapeake Farms development in north suburban Grayslake. Teal Bay, which is planned for 159 single-family homes, is one of three communities at Chesapeake Farms, along with Woodcreek and the Preserves, which also feature single-family homes.
Teal Bay homes are available in four designs, two of which are featured in furnished models. The homes are priced from $148,990 to $168,990 and contain 1,273 to 1,752 square feet. The three-bedroom homes are available in three two-story designs and one ranch plan.
The development is on Lake Street, just east of Illinois Highway 83.
– The Krughoff Co. has opened a fifth model home at its Wedgewood development in southwest suburban Plainfield. Wedgewood, a joint venture between Krughoff and Springwood Builders, features 257 single-family homes ranging from 1,831 to 3,250 square feet. Base prices range from $159,400 to $240,000.
Krughoff says that 28 floor plans are available. The new model, called Plan E-Heritage, has four bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths, with 2,588 square feet of space. It is base-priced at $190,000.
Wedgewood is on Caton Farm Road, just west of Illinois Highway 59 in Plainfield.
– Pasquinelli Construction Co.’s Classic Homes Division has opened three furnished models at Butterfield Place, a community of 60 single-family homes in north suburban Zion.
Five split-level and two-story floor plans are offered at the development, ranging from 1,300 to 1,900 square feet and base-priced from $113,990 to $123,990.
The homes have three bedrooms and one bath; four-bedroom and two- or three-bath versions are available.
Butterfield Place is on Illinois Highway 173, 4 1/2 miles east of U.S. Highway 41.
– Two series are approaching closeout at Country Walk, a development of Sundance Homes in north suburban Round Lake Beach.
Country Walk is a development of 780 homes in four series. The two that are approaching closeout are the Horizon Series of detached single-family homes and the Americana Series of attached single-family homes.
The Horizon Series has eight of 111 homes remaining, priced from $153,990 to $172,990. Four two-story designs are available, ranging from 1,850 to 2,350 square feet. The homes have three or four bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths.
The Americana Series has five two-story plans priced from $112,990 to $123,990. About 20 remain within the series of 224 homes, which have two to three bedrooms and 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 baths. Square footage ranges from 1,250 to 1,575.
Country Walk is on Cedar Lake Road, just north of Rollins Road in Round Lake Beach.
