Nathan Sostrin, 78, a Chicago attorney for more than 50 years, died Thursday in Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge. Mr. Sostrin, a resident of Lincolnwood, was a partner in Sostrin & Sostrin. He graduated from University of Illinois Law School in 1940. During World War II, he was a lieutenant in the Navy. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Shirley; a daughter, Sherry Pine; a son, Ellis; three grandchildren; two brothers; and a sister. Services will be at 10 a.m. Sunday in Weinstein Brothers Wilmette Chapel, 111 Skokie Blvd., Wilmette.
