Airbus Industrie, the European aircraft manufacturer, has brushed off rival Boeing Co. after more than a year of conducting joint-feasibility studies with the U.S. company on developing an $8 billion, 600- to 800-seat jumbo jet. . . . Boeing, meanwhile, said it won an order for six Boeing 757 twin jets from American Trans Air in a deal worth around $360 million.
