The Tribune sports department might call it saturation coverage, but I think they are going bonkers with the Chicago Bears.
Did anybody else notice that on Sept. 5, after the Bears’ “big win” over Tampa Bay, the Tribune ran no less than eight stories and five photos of the game? Three columnists were included in the overboard coverage.
We agree that the Bears are currently the No. 1 sports story in our fair city but we also believe a little more balance is in order.
