Jacob J. Rusch, 85, of the Southwest Side, a retired Chicago firefighter, died Saturday in Little of Company of Mary Hospital and Health Care Centers. He was a member of the Chicago Fire Department for more than 25 years. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; two daughters, Elizabeth Grveles DiCharia and Carol Boyd; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Mass will be said at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 6435 S. Kilbourn Ave.
