Providence d. Wheaton St. Francis: Kim Obiala tallied eight service points, 10 kills and nine blocks as No. 9 Providence (9-0) swept No. 2 Wheaton St. Francis (15-1). Trailing 8-0 in the first game, Providence rallied to win 15-12, 15-13. Jenny Kulwinski and Cari Stuchley contributed 10 assists apiece.

C.L. South d. Lake Zurich: Teri Rankin served 27 points, including 12 aces, to lead No. 3 Crystal Lake South (9-0-1, 4-0) to a 15-0, 15-7 Fox Valley sweep. Jenny Nelson contributed four kills.

“Teri carried us tonight,” said Crystal Lake South coach Pete Kottra. “Her performance made it easy for us.”

Mt. Assisi d. Academy of our Lady: Jennifer Magliano’s four kills helped Mt. Assisi (9-2, 5-0) stay unbeaten in the GCAC with a 15-1, 15-0 sweep.

Coal City d. Sandwich: Coal City (8-1, 4-0) remained unbeaten in the Interstate Eight with a 15-4, 15-3 sweep as Megan Finger set 14 assists and Ali Franciskovich had seven kills.

Illiana Christian d. Wheaton Christian: Kim DeYoung and Linda DeJong each had five kills and six blocks to help Illiana (11-1) to a 15-4, 15-7 non-conference sweep.

Joliet 2, Romeoville 0: Joliet (7-0-1, 3-0) prevailed in the SICA West, led by Matt Blackburn’s goal and assist.

Eisenhower 8, Thornwood 2: Eisenhower (6-1, 3-0) remained unbeaten in the SICA East behind Jaime Lagunas’ five goals and Noel Damian’s two goals and an assist.

Oak Lawn 7, Bremen 5: Dan Wallace, Bob Carlson and Ryan Dykema scored two goals apiece.

Lincoln-Way 2, Bolingbrook 0: Steve Blocker and Nate Davidson scored and Wes Dapkus notched his third shutout to lead Lincoln-Way (2-4, 2-1) to the SICA West victory.

Lockport 4, Andrew 0: Steve Fazio and Mike Majchrowicz each had a goal and assist to power Lockport (3-3-1, 1-0-1) in the SICA West.

Plainfield 3, Minooka 0: Jim Maclean posted his second shutout to help Plainfield (4-2-2, 2-1) to the Little Seven victory.
