Michael Jackson won’t face child molestation charges now, but the case that captivated the world with lurid allegations will stay open for up to five years, prosecutors said Wednesday. The boy whose allegations touched off the investigation more than a year ago refuses to participate in the case, said Los Angeles County District Atty. Gil Garcetti. Garcetti would not discuss details of the investigation.
