Marisol Reynolds recently pleaded for open minds regarding the controversy over her husband, Rep. Mel Reynolds. The plea did not fall on deaf ears. However, I would urge her to preach the message to her own husband first.

During a scheduled visit to Mel Reynolds office, with approximately 50 other people, to express our views on a particular issue to our representative, we were not met with an open mind. Instead, we were called names, told by him that he was not interested in our opinions and then asked to leave.

I believe what goes around, comes around. If an open mind is requested, an open mind should be practiced.
