Pontarelli Builders has opened the sales center at Depot Square, a development of condominium and senior units in north suburban Glenview. It will consist of three brick elevator buildings with a total of 108 condos.

A four-story structure for seniors will have 62 one- and two-bedroom residences measuring 600 to 1,286 square feet and priced from $89,900 to $168,900.

The two-story buildings will have a total of 46 two- and three-bedroom homes, some with dens, with 1,234 to 2,277 square feet. They are priced from $202,900 to $369,900. Each residence includes two parking spaces in a heated indoor garage.

The Village of Glenview has set a Sept. 30 deadline for applications for the senior building. Priority will be given to residents of Glenview, parents of residents, former residents, and village employees. For information, call 708-724-1700, extension 270. Senior units will have a medical alert system and barrier-free design.

To visit Depot Square, take the Edens Expressway and exit west on Old Orchard Road, north on Harms Road, west on Glenview Road, north at Church, west on Grove, then north on Depot Street.

Furnished models are scheduled to open this fall, with first occupancies in December.

– Only 14 Airhart homesites remain at the Woods of Feathersound in southwest suburban Bolingbrook.

The remaining one-quarter to one-third acre lots are priced from $54,900 to $72,300. “Many of them are wooded, some heavily. Others have desirable cul-de-sac settings,” said Mac Airhart, company president.

In addition, Airhart offers contemporary and traditional floor plans that can be customized to buyer preference.

Feathersound is on Boughton Road, near Argonne National Laboratory. Sales are being conducted out of Airhart’s corporate sales center at 500 E. Roosevelt Rd. in West Chicago.

– Wildflower, an 87-acre housing development in west suburban Naperville, has posted sales of more than 60 percent in less than two months following the opening of decorated models.

Two series of single-family homes are being built by Rolling Meadows-based Sundance Homes. The Meadow Series consists of 100 homes and is almost 90 percent sold, while the Orchid Series of 151 homes is almost 50 percent sold.

The Meadow homes are priced from $148,990 to $163,990, and offer four two-story designs ranging in size from 1,500 to 1,850 square feet with three to four bedrooms.

The Orchid homes include four, two-story designs ranging from 2,000 to 2,350 square feet that are priced from $197,490 to $209,490. They have four bedrooms.

Wildflower is located on Ogden Avenue, a half-mile east of Illinois Highway 59 in Napervlle.

– Brandess Pointe at Midlane is assisting prospective buyers with state-of-the-art video tours of the models during preconstruction sales.

Being developed by Northbrook-based Brandess Homes at the Midlane Country Club near north suburban Wadsworth, the community will have 111 single-family homes priced from $217,500 when complete.

“We have a media room in our sales center so buyers can view our five plans through three-minute tours on a 36-inch television screen,” said Janet Rich Brandess, president of Brandess Homes.

The five designs at Brandess Pointe at Midlane include four two-story plans and a ranch, ranging in size between 2,033 and 2,451 square feet. They have three or four bedrooms.

The sales center for Brandess Pointe at Midlane is on Yorkhouse Road, a half-mile west of Delany Road.

– Town & Country Homes reports that preconstruction sales have exceeded 25 percent at Red Rock, its newest townhouse development. Located in northwest suburban Schaumburg, the community is planned for 276 units priced from $104,400 to $125,900.

Available are two-story and ranch-style designs with two bedrooms and one or two baths. They range in size from 1,098 to 1,406 square feet.

Models are scheduled to open at Red Rock in October. Four different floor plans are offered. Red Rock is located on Barrington Road just north of Schaumburg Road.

– Only three of the 12 penthouse condominiums at the Lakes of Lincolnshire Condominiums, built by Bernard Katz & Co. Inc. in north suburban Lincolnshire, are still available for purchase.

Penthouse condominiums at the Lakes of Lincolnshire provide views of the surrounding countryside and the Marriott Lincolnshire golf course, and also feature 13-foot vaulted ceilings with clerestory windows in each living room or family room.

The remaining penthouses include the 2,506-square-foot Plan Two, priced at $331,000; the 2,575-square-foot Plan Six, priced at $333,000; and the 2,816-square-foot Plan Four, priced at $380,000. All have two bedrooms.

Plan Six has two full baths while the remaining pair feature 2 1/2 baths. All have marble floors in the foyer and marble hearths surrounding the gas fireplaces in the family room or living room.

The Lakes of Lincolnshire is on Rivershire Lane off of Milwaukee Avenue (Illinois Highway 21), just north of Deerfield Road.
