Robert R. Riegle, 67, of Barrington, a certified public accountant and the former chief financial officer of E.W. Kneip Inc., died Friday in Highland Park Hospital.
The Ohio native earned his degree from the International College of Ft. Wayne, Ind., in 1954. He worked at Coopers & Lybrand until 1967, when he joined Peter Eckrich & Sons Inc. He retired as the chief financial officer of E.W. Kneip Inc., a division of Swift Eckrich, in 1987, to work in private accounting practice.
He is survived by a son, Kirk; a daughter, Karen Hubbs; and two granddaughters.
Private services were held.
