Joseph B. Cunningham, 91, who worked for Sears Roebuck & Co. for 35 years, died Tuesday in Christ Hospital and Medical Center in Oak Lawn. Mr. Cunningham, a native of County Claire, Ireland, immigrated to Canada at age 21 and then to the United States, settling in Chicago. Mr. Cunningham worked at Western Electric Co. before taking a job with Sears, where he was employed until his retirement in 1969. He lived in Oak Lawn the past 22 years. He is survived by his wife, Della; a son, Bernard; two daughters, Nancy Murphy and Mary Griffin; a brother, Packy; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 2 to 10 p.m. Thursday in Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd St., Oak Lawn. Mass will be said at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Linus Catholic Church, 10300 Lawler Ave., Oak Lawn.
