Tribune writer Lisa Anderson took a cheap shot at President Clinton in her front-page story on Cuban migration Sept. 11. She mentioned, “President Clinton, for whom foreign policy has not been a strong point.”
I fail to see her justification in this statement. Was it not the Clinton administration which resolved North Korean’s nuclear situation and assisted with the Jordanian-Israeli peace plan? Both of these situations were inherited from the Bush administration and were resolved peacefully by the Clinton administration.
