Jerry Weiss, 58, the founder and managing partner of Weiss & Co., a public accounting firm in Northfield, died Monday in his Northbrook home. Born in Chicago, Mr. Weiss graduated from Northwestern University in 1958 and became a certified public accountant in 1960. From 1960 to 1968, he was a partner with the Herbert Schoenbrod & Co. accounting firm. In 1968, he founded Weiss & Co., where he was managing partner for 25 years. He is survived by his wife, Naomi; a daughter, Lenore Baigelman; a son, Martin; his mother, Clara; and two grandchildren. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Congregation Beth Shalom, 3433 Walters Ave., Northbrook.
