The bonehead drivers are here again. You can see them every rainy or foggy day-no lights.

Since Jan. 1, a state law provides a $75 fine if the wipers are on but not the lights. What an opportunity for police to fill the municipal coffers and eliminate traffic hazards.

My driving instructor said, “There’s always a 10 percent lunatic fringe that never gets the word.” He was right.
