Bibb Jordan’s new book, “The Pound Cake Cookbook” (Longstreet Press Inc., $8.95), has arrived just in time for holiday baking and gift-giving. The diminutive book, filled with more than 40 recipes, also contains a chapter on baking success. Variations include raspberry swirl, chocolate walnut, lemon cream cheese, pistachio and pumpkin pie pound cake. Jordan, from Atlanta, also wrote “Christmas Cooking.”
