Robert Van Brundt, 75, a retired Underwriters Laboratories public relations specialist, died Wednesday at The Abington nursing-care facility in Glenview. Mr. Van Brundt, a Chicago native and a 26-year Glenview resident, worked in public relations for Zenith and Motorola before joining Underwriters Lab, where he worked 16 years before retiring in 1980. Mr. Van Brundt served as a technical sergeant in the Army during World War II. He was also a volunteer reader for visually and physically disabled people for the Chicago Radio Information Service and a member of the Glenview Art Guild. Survivors include his wife, Vivian; two daughters, Nancy and Susan Redlin; and one grandson. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Morton Grove Community Church, 8944 Austin Ave., Morton Grove.
