First, the good news: Major-league baseball-you do recall that sport, don’t you?-held a meeting Tuesday in Chicago.
Now, the bad news: The meeting the grand ol’ game convened was to discuss expansion. That’s right, growth. Filling out. Getting bigger. Looming larger.
Not to be presumptuous, but from this bleacher seat, it appears as if baseball would have a more pressing issue to discuss. Like, say, playing ball!
