Negotiators for A.E. Staley Mfg. Co. and its locked-out union are talking again. The two sides met separately with federal mediators Daniel J. O’Leary and Tom Montgomery on Monday and were to resume discussions Tuesday, Montgomery said in a brief statement. Decatur, Ill.-based Staley, the United Paperworkers International Union Local 7837 and the mediators all declined to comment on how the talks went.
