UAL Corp., parent of United Airlines, has settled two shareholder lawsuits that sought to block the $4.9 billion employee buyout approved by shareholders in July. In the class-action settlement, which was approved by the Delaware Chancery Court, UAL agreed to pay $4.8 million to the attorneys who filed the suits.
