United Airlines extended until Feb. 10 its deadline for making reservations and obtaining tickets issued under the version of its Mileage Plus frequent-flyer awards program that was to have expired at midnight Tuesday. United said reservations offices across the country had experienced a flood of last-minute calls from customers wanting to exchange their frequent-flyer mileage for free tickets. . . . Six United Airlines workers whose pay was cut as part of an employee buyout have filed a federal suit in Atlanta seeking to restore their wages and those of 24,000 other non-union workers.
