I refuse to use the title Justice in front of James Heiple’s name. I’m ashamed that Heiple represents the State of Illinois on the Supreme Court. His dictum on the Baby Richard case clearly shows that he did not take the best interest of the child into consideration. As a former teacher, I’ve seen the trauma children experience when the world they know collapses around them.
