Interstate highway drivers who pull into an oasis to gas up soon may find Mickey Mouse waiting for them at the pump. Walt Disney Co., creator of the Mickey Mouse character and such top-selling films as “The Lion King,” is turning its talents to roadside attractions. The company is planning a series of rest stops called Disney Welcome Plazas, according to the latest issue of Esquire Magazine. Disney officials could not be reached for comment.
