Microsoft Corp. acquired RenderMorphics Ltd., a London-based multimedia technology firm, to help bolster its Windows operating system. Terms were not disclosed. Microsoft said Rendermorphics is the industry leader in three-dimensional programming tools and technology for personal computers. RenderMorphics’ flagship product, Reality Lab, provides high-performance 3-D graphics technology for a variety of personal computer-based games and multimedia applications.
