Louis M. Levin, 84, a retired postal worker and an insurance broker, died Tuesday in Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center. Mr. Levin, the father of Cook County Circuit Judge Ian Levin, retired from the Postal Service and for years was an insurance broker for Greater Cook County Insurance Co. Survivors also include his wife, Betty; another son, Steven; two stepsons; a stepdaughter; four sisters; two brothers; two grandchildren; and six step-grandchildren. Services were held Thursday in Wilmette.
