Patrick J. Ryan, 77, of Westchester, a retired quality control production manager for the Tribune, died Tuesday in Oak Park Hospital. Mr. Ryan started in the engraving department of the newspaper in 1936. He retired in 1982. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy E.; a son, Patrick; four daughters, Peggy, Nancy, Dorothy and Mary Molina; and five grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Westchester Funeral Home Chapel, 10501 W. Cermak Rd., Westchester. Services will be private.
