An automobile parts supplier has chosen a site just north of Tell City, Ind., for a $45 million foundry that will initially employ at least 250 people.
Waupaca Foundry of Waupaca, Wis., may add another 250 workers during a second phase of the project that would cost another $35 million, officials said.
The site is on the east side of Indiana 66, three-fourths of a mile north of Tell City. Governmental bodies are assembling land for a 356-acre rail-served industrial park.
