Favorite childhood memory: When I was 4, I went shopping and my Dad wanted to buy the girls red velvet dresses. Mom said they were too expensive. I didn’t think much about it, but on Christmas morning, there were those dresses from Santa Claus. That’s when I realized why my Dad had been working three jobs and that he was Santa.
Prized possession: I don’t own anything I would mind giving up. If I can’t share it, I don’t want it.
Personal heroes: My Daddy and anyone in a military or police uniform.
People always think I’m: Me. They’re always coming up to me and saying, “You look just like Louise Mandrell. When I say I am, they say, “No, you’re not.”
My most irrational act: Getting married when I was 16.
The best time of my life: Now. I’m living on a farm and I have a wonderful husband and my daughter is getting good grades and things are great.
The worst time of my life: Going through a divorce.
