Lois E. Persons, 89, of McHenry, died Tuesday in Alden Terrace nursing home in McHenry. She was born in Michigan and formerly lived in Kalamazoo, Mich. She is survived by two sons, William and James; two daughters, Ruthmary Sykes and Harriette Cook; a brother; a sister; 19 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 3706 W. St. Paul Ave., McHenry.
