The Village Board Tuesday night approved preliminary plans for the Windemere subdivision of 83 lots that would be developed on roughly 40 vacant acres off Sleepy Hollow Road just north of Randall Road.
The land, annexed by the village in 1994, is part of the 183- acre Moser Golden Farm. It is next to Westfield Community School, the combined elementary and middle school that is under construction.
The Windemere developers are Ryland Homes Chicago Division of Schaumburg and Franklin Development of Hoffman Estates.
