William S. Mosher, 53, a detective assigned to the Wentworth Area violent crimes division of the Chicago Police Department, died Monday in Christ Hospital and Medical Center, Oak Lawn. Mr. Mosher joined the department in 1968. He is survived by his wife, Diane; a son, Marc; a daughter, Merridith; two brothers; two sisters; and a grandchild. Visitation will be from 2 to 10 p.m. Wednesday in the Blake Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 N. 103rd St., Oak Lawn. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. John Fisher Church, 10234 S. Washtenaw Ave., Chicago.
