A Canadian firm said it obtained an option to acquire Chicago’s historic Oriental Theatre on Randolph Street between State and Dearborn Streets, which has been closed for several years. Live Entertainment of Canada Inc. said it will investigate the cost of restoring the theater and financing alternatives during the option period.
