Rose E. Roewer, 89, a restaurant cook, died Thursday in Valley Hi Nursing Home in Woodstock. She was born in Crystal Lake and worked for 37 years as a cook at Lange’s Restaurant, now Duke O’Brien’s. She is survived by three sisters and a brother. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the Querhammer Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home.
