Henry Splett, 85, a native of Pennsylvania and longtime resident of Highland Park, died Sunday at home. He was a custodian for Illinois Bell Telephone Co. for 30 years before retiring in 1975. He is survived by four sons, Daniel, David, Henry and Kenneth; three daughters, Alma, Nancy and Henrietta; one brother; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Kelley & Spalding Funeral Home, 1787 Deerfield Rd., Highland Park. Services for Mr. Splett will be held there at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
