When my 10-year-old daughter writes “it’s” or “i’ts” when it should be “its,” I am only slightly concerned. But when the Tribune writes “. . . the security booth is empty, it’s window gone . . .” (Main news, June 4), it really bothers me. Similarly, it bothers me when the Tribune writes, “The body was laying in the street.” I feel the Tribune should adhere to higher standards.
