Susan Benjamin has been hired by the District 113 board as the new assistant superintendent for staff and community resources.
Benjamin comes into the $100,000 salaried position from her post as Highland Park High School’s English department chairperson. She replaces Fred Tandy, who is moving to California to begin a consulting business.
