Jack Chavin, 83, of Arlington Heights, a retired salesman and U.S. Army veteran of World War II, died Thursday at Church Creek Health Care Center in Arlington Heights. He is survived by two sons, Steven and Lowell; three grandchildren; and a sister. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Shalom Memorial Park Cemetery on Rand Road and Illinois Highway 53 in Palatine.
