The Village Board has approved an appropriations measure authorizing the new municipality to spend up to $138,805.92 for the coming fiscal year, which runs through April 30, 1996.
The measure is not a budget, Village President Rick Mack explained at Monday’s board meeting, but it affords “the security that in case of an emergency, you can spend those funds.”
Ringwood’s revenues are expected to be its share of revenue from state income taxes, sales taxes and motor fuel taxes, as well as locally generated liquor license, building permit and other fee revenues.
