Plato S. Smith, 85, a retired postal worker, died Tuesday in his home in Chicago’s South Shore neighborhood. Survivors include a brother and two sisters. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday in Griffin Funeral Home Ltd., 3232 S. King Drive. Services will follow.
