A Round Lake Beach man was killed by a Metra commuter train while lying on railroad tracks early Friday, authorities said.
Officials said Ronald Pecor, 47, who had a listed address of 10232 Lotus Drive, was hit about 1:40 a.m. just east of Illinois Highway 134 in Hainesville.
