I note from a recent paper (“What people earn,” Parade, June 18) that 44-year-old Rush Limbaugh makes $10 million a year while 56-year-old Wilford Trahan makes $7,500 as a school bus driver.
This leads me to concede that the Republican idea of a flat tax rate is quite acceptable–as soon as they implement a flat wage rate to go with it.
