Viola K. Young, 80, of McHenry, died Sunday in Canterbury Place Retirement Center in McHenry. She was born in Johnsburg. Survivors include her husband, Clarence; a daughter, Katheleen Carpenter; two sons, David and Kenneth; two sisters; and two brothers. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at George R. Justen and Son Funeral Home, 3519 W. Elm St., McHenry. Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 1403 N. Richmond Rd., McHenry.
