Dr. John F. O’Connell, 70, of La Grange died Monday in La Grange Memorial Hospital. Dr. O’Connell was a longtime dentist who operated his own practice until recently. He served in the Army during World War II. Dr. O’Connell is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; three daughters, Dr. Maureen O’Connell, Sheila Cortez and Amy Baisden; two sons, Dr. John F. III and Stephen; five brothers; a sister; and four grandchildren. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Cletus Catholic Church, 600 W. 55th St., La Grange.
