Jane E. “Betty” Burchard, 73, a longtime Evanston and Rogers Park resident, died Wednesday in her Evanston home. Born in Chicago, Mrs. Burchard worked as a secretary for 10 years at the Evanston Hospital. Survivors include two daughters, Judith Boquist and Carol Hoeppel; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Oehler Funeral Home, 555 Lee St., Des Plaines.
