John Jay Pabst, 40, an electrical engineer from Indianapolis who formerly lived in Chicago, died Sunday in Carmel, Ind. Survivors include his parents, Walter J. and Mary Eileen, two brothers; and a sister. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in M.J. Suerth Funeral Home, 6754 N. Northwest Highway, Chicago. Mass will be said at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Thecla Catholic Church, 6725 W. Devon Ave., Chicago.
