Birthday: March 15, 1961.
Birthplace: Milan.
Real name: Fabio Lanzoni.
Occupation: International celebrity.
Current home: Los Angeles.
Marital status: Single.
Car: A Humvee.
Working on: I have a new book, “Fabio Fitness” (Summit Publishing), a TV show, a video, a magazine, a newsletter, a line of fitness equipment and a nutrition 900 number. I’m looking at scripts for a movie and a TV series.
The last good movie I saw: “Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein.”
I stay home to watch: Old movies. I just saw “Patton.”
The book I’ve been reading: Electronics magazines. I have the most amazing hi-fi. I have an engineering background. That’s my main passion. I’m very much a technical person.
Favorite childhood memory: Living with my grandmother. Until I was 5, she raised me. My parents lived in Milan; they wanted to keep me away from the big city and the smog.
Prized possession: My spirituality. Material things come and go. I have my own philosophy. I’ve understood from a young age, you have to have God in your life. After that you take care of your mind and body.
If I could do it over I: Would have come to this country earlier. I came at 19, but I should have come as soon as I walked.
I’d give anything to meet: Robert De Niro and Harrison Ford.
The one thing I can’t stand: Snobs who act like they’re too cool to talk to you.
If I could change one thing about myself: I’m very happy with what God gave me.
People who knew me in high school thought I was: A terror. I had a lot of energy and it was impossible for me to sit still in class. I drove the teachers crazy.
I knew I was a grown-up when I: Was 14. I knew what I wanted: to come to America, be a model, move into acting, and eventually, own my own studio. I have a very good business sense. I like the business more than being in front of the camera.
If I wasn’t an international celebrity, I’d be: An engineer working in a recording studio on computer animation.
The words that best describe me: Humble, down-to-earth and sincere.
